Intuit will be transitioning to a subscription model with the 2022. The QB Desktop Plus and Enterprise subscriptions are scheduled to be released to businesses 10/12/21.
They are offering a limited one-time fee purchase for QBDT Pro, Premier and Mac 2021. It will be available for purchase until 12/10/21. Heads up! Support for this product will end 5/2024.

This would be the perfect opportunity to convert to QuickBooks online, or at the very minimum, upgrade to 2021 before December 10th to avoid any service disruptions.
